Shorts. We all have them. And with spring season coming up, now’s a better time than ever to go short shopping. Shirts are important too, but shorts are the- yes, the most important part of your outfit. A man who finishes on his shorts who doesn’t know how to finish who doesn’t wear nice shorts is a man who doesn’t know how to finish. Actually he’s not a man at all. More like a girl.
The essentials:
PE shorts: These are the classic look. You can’t go wrong with your standard blue school logo shirts. Whether you are sporting a PE shirt or just whatever is not too stained in your clothes pile, your PE shorts will be a perfect match. The latest, greatest fashion trend these days is the free shorts distributed in PE classes. They are free, but you only get a few pairs. The imitation “athletic shorts” available in stores just don’t cut it. This season, expect to see a lot of blue out there as all fashionable men break out their PE shorts. The most fashionable of men will wear them every day, sometimes resorting to wearing unwashed shorts multiple days in a row just to get their style on.
Basketball Shorts: If you are not on the basketball team, you can still participate in this west-coast trend. The style originated in the north, but all the cool So-Cal men have picked it up too. The trick is obtaining this hot commodity. Some of our fashion corespondents have said that the lost and found can be a great place to pick up some “new” threads.
Cargo Shorts: Tired of having zero pockets in which to put things when you’re wearing your mesh shorts? Well how about 23 pockets? A pair of cargo shorts can be the most convenient article of clothing you will ever own. No more would you have to refrain from having fun because “your hands are full”. No more would you complain about not having enough pockets within pockets. With cargo shorts, your hands would never be full, and you would always be able to have whatever you need on your person. If you get a pair with enough pockets, who knows? You might not even need a backpack anymore
